Traditional Funeral Services

This is often called a viewing. It allows family and friends to gather in a room with their loved one (in an open or closed casket). It gives everyone the opportunity to say goodbye and offer their support and sympathy. A visitation can occur at any time before the funeral service.

This event can take place at a funeral home, or in a church. The service is a ceremony which serves to celebrate, honor, and remember a life well lived. Whether traditional or unique, both can be personalized to reflect the individuality of your loved one.

Committal Services are held at the cemetery and allows close family and friends to be present as their loved one is transferred to his or her final disposition.  Typically there is a brief service of prayers or readings at the graveside during or prior to the burial.

Many choose to host this post-service gathering (or repast) at a reception hall. This is considered a time to share memories, laughter, and support.
