James "Chick" Ford

Chick is a native of Baltimore, and raised in Loch Lynn. He has resided in Garrett County for 55 years. He recently retired after 45 years working at Browning’s Foodland and Browning’s Shop and Save. He retired from the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department after 31 years of service. Chick works as the funeral assistant at all 5 Newman locations and covers in many other facets. If there is a need at any time of the day, Chick is always there. He lives with his wife Geri in Oakland. He has two stepchildren and 2 adopted sons and are foster parents that have had the privilege of serving approximately 75 children over the past 20 years. In his free time, Chick enjoys bowling and fishing.
Likes- Muscle cars and anything that has maple in it
