Pamela Jean Holland, 59, of Oakland, MD, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020, at her home.
Born February 23, 1961, in Warren, OH, she was the daughter of the late Eugene, Sr. and Frances (Jamison) Root. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, April Mae (Pooh Bear) (Holland) Lang; one sister, Teresa “Buggy” Murphy.
Pam worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home. She also worked at Walmart and when she was younger, she worked at Big T Restaurant and BFS. Pam was a member of Crellin United Methodist Church, and loved her church family, especially the Gnegy and Dilly families. She enjoyed the outdoors, when she was able to be outside, and loved working puzzles. She made flamboyant jewelry, loved bright colors and crazy designs. Pam enjoyed knitting hats, scarves and afghans, and making homemade things for her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jeff Holland; one daughter, Angel Hollobaugh, Rowlesburg, WV; six grandchildren, Abby Berg, Rowlesburg; Tequila and Skylar Hollobaugh, Rowlesburg; Kristen Lang, NC; A.J. and Logan Lang, Baltimore, MD; one brother, Eugene Root, Jr., Loch Lynn, MD; one sister, Melinda Friend, Oakland; several nephews and nieces; friends, Sarah and Ann Martin.
Due to the limited number of people allowed to gather following the executive order by the State of Maryland, her services will be private.
