Marlene Schrock, known to most of her friends as “Ink” and to her grandchildren as “Mugga”, passed away peacefully, October 4, 2020, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, PA, after a short bout of illness.
Born February 3, 1932, to Glen & Mary (Lowry) Farner, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James A. Menhorn; her second husband, Robert W. Schrock; three brothers, Harry, James & Paul Farner and one sister, Geneva McKerhan.
Mrs. Schrock is survived by her sister, Joann Murphy; her best friend, Lena “Sissy” Schartiger; three step children, Terry (Denise) Schrock, Kevin Schrock, Tammie(Eric) Lasure; five grandchildren and the apple of her eye, Alyson Kotelnicki, Lauren, Rachel & Wesley Schrock and Garrett Lasure.
Mrs. Schrock worked in the garment industry for 27 years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, 35 year member of the VFW and American Legion Auxiliary. Marlene loved spending time with her family vacationing at the beach, playing cards and spending time on her deck grilling.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury, PA, on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Services will be conducted in the funeral home, Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 11:00 am with Pastor Eric Lasure officiating. Interment will be in
