Linda Kaye Yommer, 77, of Boynton, PA, died Thursday, July 9, 2020, at her residence.
Born September 9, 1942, in Meyersdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel E. and Carolyn (Bowman) Vought. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond W. Yommer, January 11, 2018, and one brother, Robert Vought.
Mrs. Yommer was a seamstress, retiring after 45 years who had worked for Salisbury Sportswear and Meyersdale Manufacturing. Linda also worked for five years at Snyder’s Potato Chips, Berlin, PA and was a member of the Salisbury Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by one son, William (Deb) Yommer, Dover, PA; one daughter, Lana (JR) Hotchkiss, Salisbury, PA; one brother, John Vought, Grantsville, MD; five grandchildren, Bill and Kaycee Yommer, Cory, Peyton and Shelby Hotchkiss.
A graveside service will be held in the Salisbury Cemetery on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Whitacre officiating.
Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy., Salisbury, is in charge of arrangements.
