Lilly Grace Meyers, 82, of Friendsville, MD, died Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg, PA.

Born April 22, 1938, in Friendsville, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Ellen (Sines) Coddington. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Blaine Meyers; one son, Charles Patton, Jr.; two brothers, Ray and Clarence Coddington; and one sister, Jean Beachy.

Mrs. Meyers was a sewing machine operator for Mountain Surf, Friendsville and also worked at Garrett Containers, Accident, MD. She was a member of Sand Spring Church of God.

She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Ruth Patton, Accident; two brothers, Charles (Barbara) Coddington, Farmington, PA; Ralph (Darlene) Coddington, Confluence, PA; one sister, Goldie (James) Herring, Markleysburg; one sister-in-law, Carol Coddington and six nephews, Mike Beachy, Charles Coddington, Ralph Coddington, Jr., Scott Herring, Greg Herring and Raymond Coddington; four nieces, Mary Ann Rinker, Pam Tissue, Wendy Hager and Jean Cesarino.

Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, on Friday, July 24, 2020, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev. Peter Suwak officiating. Interment will be in the Sand Spring Cemetery.
