Jere Leslie Yohn, 83, of Grantsville, MD, died Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Oakland, MD.
Born June 13, 1936, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Philip Bucher and Milla Frances (Nevius) Yohn. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Robert and Ronald.
Mr. Yohn was a Lieutenant with the Maryland State Police and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of the Procter Kildow Post 71, American Legion, Oakland and was known for his clock repair and collecting, watch collecting and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Molter) Yohn; one daughter, Kimberly Sue (Yohn) (Murray) Slattery; two grandchildren, Sarah (Andrew) Bollard; Daniel (Andrea) Slattery; and three great-grandchildren.
Due to the limited number of people allowed to gather following the executive order by the State of Maryland, services will be private.
