Chase Allen Dumire, 35, of Colorado Springs, CO, (formerly of Oakland, MD) passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020, in Manitou Springs, CO.
Born September 3, 1984, in Dayton, OH, he was the son of Thomas R. Dumire, Oakland, and Darlene G. (Hunter) Morris, Freemont, CO. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Keith and Norma Dumire; maternal grandparents, Kathyrn Dillsworth, and David Hunter.
Chase worked as a stonemason. He loved anything and everything about the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, who took great pride in caring for Chase, Autumn D. Dumire, Colorado Springs; one brother, Blake A. Dumire, Oakland; two nephews, Coalton Shriver and Jacob Hunter; step-father, Chris Morris; numerous cousins.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Drive, Oakland on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 10, 2020, from 11 to 12 p.m. Services will immediately follow visitation Tuesday, in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Rodney Powell and Pastor John Rodeheaver officiating. Interment will be in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
