Jack James Hebb, Sr., 79, of Oakland, MD, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
Born August 28, 1940, in WV, he was the son of the late Jerry James and Daisy Susan (Keyser) Hebb. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Sally Mellott; a son, Leonard James Hebb; two brothers, Charles Allen Hebb, Robert Bruce Hebb; one sister, Leona Midalen Gaster.
Jack owned his own dairy farm, and worked as a dairy farmer. He attended Maple Grove Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by two sons, Jack James Hebb, Jr. and wife Tammy, Oakland, MD; David Aaron Hebb and wife, Becky, Oakland; three daughters, Phoebe Grace Edgell, Oakland; Charlene Maria Hebb, Calhoun, CO; Laurra Dawn McClean, Friendsville, MD; two brothers, Perry Pete Hebb, Oakland; Daniel Elliott Hebb, Grafton, WV; one sister, Catherine M. Kight, Oakland; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
At Jack’s request, he will be cremated. A memorial service has been planned for January 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Community Building, 975 Joni Miller Rd., Oakland, MD, 21550, with Pastor Ryan Miller officiating.
