Obituary

Homer Eugene “Rick” Reichenbecher, 92, of Accident, MD, died Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at his residence.

Born April 26, 1927, in Keyser’s Ridge, MD, he was the son of the late Albert and Estella (Folk) Reichenbecher. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy L. (Glass) Reichenbecher, February 6, 2012; one brother, Blaine Reichenbecher; two sisters, Violet Kendzora and Tillie Phelps.

Rick was a farmer and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, ELCA, Cove, MD.

He is survived by one son, Terry Reichenbecher, Accident; one daughter, Ellen (Randy) Schrock, Springs, PA; one brother, Vernon “Tom” Reichenbecher, Grantsville, MD; one sister, Margie Menges, Grantsville; two grandchildren, Samantha and Timothy Schrock.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held in the Grantsville Cemetery on Friday, July 5, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., with the Rev. Peter Suwak officiating.
