Harry Burdice Handwerk, 78, of Grantsville, MD, died Friday, April 19, 2019, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville.
Born June 20, 1940, in Jennings, MD, he was the son of the late Oscar and Allie (Mason) Handwerk. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Ellen (Wilt) Handwerk; one son, Harry Douglas and one brother, Marvin Handwerk.
Mr. Handwerk was a heavy equipment operator for L & J Equipment, Uniontown, PA.
He is survived by three daughters, Vonda Sebold and husband, Jeff, Grantsville; Marla Shelley and husband, Michael, Frostburg, MD; Julie Bunnell and husband, Gary, Salisbury, PA; one brother, Owen Handwerk, Grantsville; three grandchildren, Derek Sebold, Walker Bunnell and Brody Rugg.
The family would like to give a very special thank you to Goodwill Mennonite Home and staff for their excellent care given to their dad.
A private burial was held Monday, April 22, 2019, in the Grantsville Cemetery.
Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, was in charge of arrangements.
