Gladys DeAlvis Losh, 90, of Oakland, MD, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home, Oakland.
Born June 5, 1927, in Crellin, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles D. and Myrtle A. (Meyers) Graham. She was also preceded in death by her two husbands, Leo G. Coddington and Rufus Ford Losh, Jr.; two sons, Charles E. Coddington and Jack W. Coddington; two brothers, Fred Graham and Charles Graham.
Gladys was a homemaker. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved to quilt, knit and crochet. She was a spiritual woman and a member of the Terra Alta Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by two sons, Robert A. Coddington (Debora), Oakland; Daniel L. Coddington (Bonnie), Oakland; one daughter, Janice L. Jantz (Ray), Orlando FL; daughters-in-law, Clara Coddington, Swanton, MD; Flora Coddington, Mt Airy, MD; eight grandchildren; Preston Coddington, Cindy Barlow, Becky Everett, Kristi Coddington-Durst, Jesse Coddington, Sarah Coddington, Deanna Murphy, Stephanie Knauer; twelve great grandchildren; Isaiah, Charlotte, Ethan, Rachel, Madison, Frank, Mason, Seth, Levi, Andrew, Allie and Noah.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A. on Thursday, February 8, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend John Skipper officiating. Interment will be in the Ashby Cemetery, Crellin.
