Edna Elizabeth McClintock, 89, of Accident, MD, died Monday, January 29, 2018, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, MD.
Born August 25, 1928, in Accident, she was the daughter of the late Harold James and Mary Millicent (Brown) Jenkins. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Artice and Luther McClintock and one brother, Garland Jenkins.
Mrs. McClintock was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, ELCA, Cove and a former member of the Ladies Aid, Cove.
She is survived by two sons, Lonnie (Dusti) Artice, Accident; Larry (Melanie) Artice, Friendsville; one step-son, Emerson McClintock, Grantsville; two daughters, Linda (Mark) Tomblin, Accident; Millicent (Kenneth) Harsh, Bruceton Mills, WV; 19 grandchildren, Tonya Durst, Keith Tomblin, Kevin Tomblin, Vickie Friend, Teresa Anderson, Matthew Artice, Summer Seese, Samantha Robinson, Dustin Fowler, Jodi Howdershelt, Craig Artice, Danielle Newcomb, Austin Snyder, Chris Harsh, Amanda Denkenberger, Paul McClintock, Kim Lowery, Tyler McClintock and Logan McClintock; 28 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, MD, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday, February 2, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Roland Nairn, III and Pastor Rodney Durst officiating. Interment will be in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Accident.
