Clayton Ray Yoder, 84, of Springs, PA, died Thursday, September 19, 2019, at In Touch Hospice House, Somerset, PA.
Born December 10, 1934, in Greenwood, DE, he was the son of the late Bert & Sue (Bontrager) Yoder. Mr. Yoder was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn (Wiley) Yoder; one brother, Ed Yoder; three sisters, Irene Maust, Rhoda Yoder & Ruth Yoder.
Mr. Yoder was a retired maintenance man for Beitzel Corporation (Springs Shop) and was a member of the Springs Mennonite Church.
Surviving are two sons, Wayne (Delores) Yoder, West Jefferson, OH, Glenn (Karen) Yoder, Irwin, OH; two sisters, Martha Yoder, Grantsville, MD, Mary Miller, Greenwood, DE; two grandchildren, Clayton B. (Rachel) Yoder, Michelle Yoder; one great-granddaughter, Shelby Yoder and special friend, Debbie Werner.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller Street, Grantsville, on Sunday, September 22, 2019, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Services will be conducted in the Springs Mennonite Church, Monday, September 23, 2019, at 11:00 am, with Pastor John Verburg and Pastor Brenda Benner officiating. Interment will be in the Springs Cemetery.
